I recently went up to Vermont and met White Wolf in person, for the first time, for a highly specialized Combat Class. Since I was seven I have been training in many different martial arts as well as elite military combat systems and have therefore, over the years, acquired a good sense of what is practical and what is not, as well as fine tuned my discernment for bullshit. In short: White Wolf is the real deal! As hard as it may be to believe in a world full of scam artists, but he truly is who he says he is!
After an initial talk about what it was that I came looking for, White Wolf then showed and drilled me in the most brutal, and brutally efficient moves one could ever hope to never have to use! As gentle and genuine as he is as a person and instructor, he's unstoppable and devastating as a fighter and I got to catch a glimpse of that during my class. He showed me things that even I had never seen before and that I know, not even most of the world's elite military units are taught (because I have been trained by some of the best special forces instructors), this was stuff straight out of the blackest of black ops type kill drills, not for the faint of heart lemme tell ya! The most fascinating aspect of it all however was his internal energy work. Many, many martial artists and fighters talk about Chi and their usage of it as much as the day is long, but frankly most do just that and only that: they talk! White Wolf on the other hand showed me in actuality what it is and how it feels and I can testify that he has it! Without going into too much detail, there was one time where he was showing me a take down: while holding my right arm he applied this force through his palm and the pressure and pain was intense like fire, I went down immediately. He actually burned some of my skin off and I got the scar the prove it! When I then tried the same on him, nothing happened, and I am a strong dude, but because I was using muscular tension I was fighting myself and all my strength was of no use to me whatsoever, a truly humbling experience. To sum it up: Studying under (Kikeyjumhet) Elder White Wolf was a bit surreal at times because it isn't every day that one has access to that type of warrior training! Thanks to his trust in me, my eyes were opened to a whole new level of combat applications and I am anxiously awaiting my next class with him!! I wanted to further add that I did not ask him for training me in traditional Small Circles Of Five Animals Jujitsu but to go straight to the most fierce, black zone combat scenarios. I know that he can adjust his class to any student's personal needs and so I suggest anyone thinking about taking a Jujitsu/combat class from him to not be scared or shy and simply tell him exactly what it is that you want/need. Either way I can guarantee you, you will not be disappointed! -S.A.S. - New York

One of the best things I can say about Small Circles of 5 Animals is its practicality. Sure Elder White Wolf does an exceptional job at preserving the heritage of the art and its founders, upholding primary traditions and roots. While all that’s great and honorable, the true practicality is what really caught me. Yea there’s certainly mat techniques, but beyond those there’s a real diversity of techniques that can be used in places where the last thing you want to do is go to the ground. Also, unlike MMA schools I’ve been to and other schools teaching tournament styles, Elder White Wolf seriously addresses how to face off multiple opponents in street situations, as well as one on one, armed and unarmed, injured or uninjured, force or grace, offense and defense, how to avoid conflict, how to deliver a warning, submission or in very worst case scenarios, kill in real combative situations.
In all my training I’ve found more well rounded practicality and reality here than anywhere else. Elder White Wolf helped me get ready for SEAL's training. -D. Arthur - Colorado I’ve been around the block many times through many years in the martial arts communities. In all my travels and studies I’ve never found anyone as young as Elder White Wolf with the skills he possesses and executes. To my knowledge it takes practitioners decades and decades, maybe 50 years to be able to generate and practically use intense amounts of internal qi. I’ve only met three old men who had attained such levels before meeting Elder White Wolf. I couldn’t believe the skill he had for being in his late 30’s, and today he is years older.
There are some amazingly talented martial artists in the world, no doubt, and I’ve met many. Nevertheless, I still have not encountered but less than a handful who come close to Elder White Wolf’s abilities. Sure many are great on the mat or in the gym, but they haven’t figured it out in the rest of their life. Elder White Wolf embodies the true spirit of his practices in all of his life, not just on the mat, and to me that’s the sign of a true “Elder”, “Master”. He’s got no ego, nothing to prove, no judgment, yet his resolve is like iron and fire. I’m truly honored and humbled to have met him. -Roy B., retired chief of police- Florida Even though I only very briefly trained with White Wolf it was a profound experience -- his chi energy is irresistible, yet very controlled; his understanding of the opponent's movement is lighting fast and accurate to the point; although his form is of the traditional, it is evident that he applies it to the fullest of practical effect. Make no mistake, if you want to learn from the best, the place is here.
- Sami Vartiainen - Helsinki I’d the privilege of training under Elder White Wolf for three years. This was many years before he was poisoned. Before training under him I’d trained at many martial arts schools throughout my life. Karate, Aikido, Judo, Kung Fu, Jujitsu, Taekwondo… NONE of those schools or masters compared to Elder White Wolf’s skill, passion for teaching and his art and attention to levels and levels of detail. When I went to his classes on a weekly basis it was uplifting. There were no drama, gossip or ego wars happening. We trained, solid, non nonsense but with great mutual respect, dedication, practicality and friendliness. Training under Elder White Wolf made me want to dedicate myself all the more to the style, more than I ever had in any other area of my life all. He just had that air about him, the energy of incredible skill, truth, trust and heart that I’ve found nowhere else at such levels. I would've trained for life with him, but at that stage in his life he had to move away. I still practice today all I learned in those three years.
- L.E. - Colorado Training weapons with Elder White Wolf was the most fun I have ever had as he taught me practical applications and techniques that I use many years after to this day. His weaponry skill is nothing short of awe inspiring. His personal instruction was some of the best I have experienced anywhere and I have seen a lot. He will really work in depth with you, giving you precise details and allowing you to really apply your skills. I highly recommend Elder White Wolf's martial instruction.
- Jaguar - New York I have been training martial arts since the 2nd grade to which I am now 28 years old(with a handful of break period years in there). I can safely say I have trained at some of the biggest run of the mill chain "McDojos" along with studying directly under old Grandmasters and everywhere in between. After training under such a variety of people and arts I wish to only train under the purest and most skilled, knowledgeable masters I can find. Elder White Wolf is just that. My search and hopefully yours is over as well. White Wolf is truly the complete package. Not only does he have extreme skill in his art and others but he exhibits the martial arts way of life through his every day which correlates right back to his art and teaching. He has a deep and rare understanding with all things related to martial arts and more importantly physical experience that is unlikely to be found in very many other teachers across the globe. With seemingly lifetimes of techniques, applications and wisdom for the student to reach, practice and learn, he also has the ability to work with others and share his art very well. He is the most non judgmental, kind and patient teacher I have encountered while also being no nonsense with the skill to know his students through and through allowing him to help take them through personal limits on to new plateaus in mind, body and spirit through his unique peaceful and deadly art of Small Circles Of 5 Animals Jujitsu. My goal is to continue to train under Elder White Wolf for the rest of my life.
